Thanx! Very cool and helpful resource.

"2. Download the code to see how it was done."

It's a little difficult to look at the code to see how it's done when it's all inaccessible in an archive.rpa file. =/

I have NOT tried update GUI.. I will try that, thanks!

For the music room, I noticed that you have the list in different orders in the code in a few places...
I noticed that by default, the next/prev was using the order you have in the definitions.rpy music init section, which is reversed compared to the buttons on the music room screen and is ALSO the alphabetical order of the filenames which is the (reversed) order they play in.
I don't think it's a Ren'Py bug.
This is why I thought that just renaming the audio files would be the easiest fix.

One thing that's bugged me for a couple of versions is the Music Room Previous/Next button functions are swapped (Clicking Next plays the previous track and vice-versa).

I tried fixing this by renaming the audio files with prefixes (01, 02, etc) and messing with $redefine_resources but kept getting errors.

I ended up having to edit multiple files to get it fixed. =/
Yes, I could have just swapped the actions on the buttons in extras.rpy, but my OCD wouldn't let me. lol.

Also, it's a LOT of work to adjust the template and GUI for 1280x720.

Crashed on start on the first run. =(

Ran fine after restarting.

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.
While running game code:
File "game/script.rpy", line 114, in script
    $ achievement.progress("Point_Collector", 10)
File "game/script.rpy", line 114, in script
    $ achievement.progress("Point_Collector", 10)
  File "game/script.rpy", line 114, in <module>
    $ achievement.progress("Point_Collector", 10)
File "renpy/common/00achievement.rpy", line 377, in progress
    i.progress(name, complete)
File "renpy/common/00achievement.rpy", line 115, in progress
raise Exception("To report progress, you must register {} with a
stat_max.".format(name))
Exception: To report progress, you must register Point_Collector with a stat_max.

When you build, can you check the Mac box (or build for markets), please?

Nice start!

At several points, screens stop responding to mouse clicks. The only way to regain control is to click on "Menu" and click back.
The ability to get back to the main screen (to view collectibles and quit the game) from within the game would be nice, and I assume scene replays will be implemented at some point?

Keep up the great work!
Questions: Is it intentional that the stable and psychometrics currently get whacked when you complete the latest update? We're not gonna have to wait for 1.0 for that are we?

Presumably scenes and/or image galleries will eventually be accessible through stable/psychometrics/progress?

Please tell me you have MUCH more planned for Lenore? Good lawd amighty! 🍆 🍑 💦
btw, I was surprised at the current choice in her scene - erm... seemed like wrong hole?

This game is a freakin' masterpiece.
I just have one question... who the hell is "Mr. Vargas"?!?

Heh... it shows up in dialog instead of MC a couple times late game.  ;)

Just started this, and it has a pretty cool story idea, great characters and renders/animations. I may edit this later.

edit: The Daz models, textures, environments/lighting and renders are all extremely well done - probably the best I've ever seen in a game of this type.

Feedback/recommendations:
Please do not force full screen. Playing in a window should be default on desktop, with an option to turn on Fullscreen.
Please enable Quicksave/Quickload.
The character portraits are really great...
but the rest of the UI is pretty bad. Please consider using better fonts (maybe more sci-fi ish?). The fonts make the whole game look cheap and cartoonish, which is a shame and off-putting.
For the love of god, please get rid of the SpongeBob screens.

Other than that, I really like it so far and will be following this one closely.
ps: needs more big titted/thicc characters. ;P

Yeah... I did notice some rough spots as I mentioned in my first comment below. In my first go, Mrs. Steel was mentioned late game, and I had no idea who she was.

I guess I just got lucky with my second playthrough and had absolutely no continuity issues at all, and had success with all characters and side characters. Thx for reminding me about Katawa Shouju I don't think I ever finished it.

"sister you're not in a relationship with"
?? I was in a relationship with all of them, so I'm not sure what you mean. There was no "bean spilling" in my playthrough.

I think Perverteer has said that the points system was something that he started with, but sort of abandoned later. For me, the points didn't seemed to matter much, and had little (if any) bearing on behavior - Liza was very high in both, but she was reluctant until late game anyway, and Susan was 6/2 but still fine with everything.

"I think sleeping with other women seems to (heavily) botch up certain story progressions, notably Ana and Alina early on."
I didn't find that to be the case at all. I slept with every character (including all secondary characters) with no really detrimental effects.

Okay... finished my second playthrough, and ended up with optimal endings for everyone. Protip: Quicksaves, rollbacks, and saves are your friends. ;P

I'm pretty sure I may have missed only a couple of (very minor) scenes, but I'll definitely be playing through again.

I dabble in Ren'Py a bit - I wish the scripts weren't compiled so I could just add my own image and scene galleries (for my own "purposes", heh) - since it doesn't sound like galleries are going to make it into the final release. =(

@Perverteer - Yes, that's exactly what happened. I think the problem was at the beginning, the punishment for lewd behavior is too severe (game over), so it forces you to be too cautious. I didn't even see or click on the relationship icon until late in the game, and by that point there is no way to do anything about it or even access any of the main story arcs. Maybe it just needs a "Bad ending" screen - "You decide to move out and start a new life on your own" sort of thing if you fail to have any relationships by a certain point.

That being said, I started over, and this time I did things MUCH  differently and wow... what a difference when you unlock all the characters storylines. Great job particularly on the Bella arc...  I'm a sucker for a good tsundere character. ngl, Got me right in the feels a couple times.

ps: I just got to the James conversation... much better.

My first playthrough was enjoyable... until... I got back from vacation and James called to share a confession. The only two options were TERRIBLE (and hypocritical!), and didn't make any sense at all for the MC ("She's MINE!" and "You need professional help" WTF?). This made me want to just quit the game at that point, and that was upsetting. =(
Right after that, from day 22-32, most days I could only wake up, wait til evening and go to sleep with no other interactions available at all.
Overall, interesting characters and decent dialog and story - but it does have some rough spots.
